The drive starts at Marina Bay and crosses the Benjamin Sheares Bridge, with the bay on one side and the sea on the other; loops back up Orchard Road into the quiet, tree-lined avenues of Nassim and Tanglin; climbs Mount Faber for the view over the harbour and Sentosa; and ends at Sentosa Cove and ONE°15 Marina.
Marina Bay and the bridge
Start beside the Gardens by the Bay and take the Benjamin Sheares Bridge: the skyline of Marina Bay is on one side and the anchored ships on the other.
Orchard and Nassim
Follow Orchard Road to its quieter Tanglin end, then turn into Nassim Road and the surrounding avenues, among the Good Class Bungalow Areas listed by URA. These are private homes: enjoy the trees from the road.
Drive early on a Sunday, when the roads are quiet.
Mount Faber
Climb Mount Faber Park, part of the Southern Ridges (NParks), for the view over the harbour, Keppel Bay and Sentosa.
Sentosa Cove
Cross to Sentosa and finish at Sentosa Cove, where ONE°15 Marina sits at 11 Cove Drive (one15marina.com).
Our advice: avoid the weekday rush hours, and check Sentosa’s vehicle entry arrangements before you drive onto the island.
