About Pulau Ubin and Chek Jawa
At Chek Jawa, a boardwalk makes a Coastal Loop of 600 m and a Mangrove Loop of 500 m, and the seven-storey Jejawi Tower (21 m) looks over the canopy. The wetlands are about 3 km from the Ubin jetty, reached by bicycle, van or a walk of about 40 minutes (NParks). Opening hours differ between NParks pages, so check before you go. Keep to the trails and don’t approach, provoke or feed wildlife, including the long-tailed macaques (NParks).
